Happy Thanksgiving

"One"
Martin County, January 2008

Although a secular holiday, celebrated in the U.S. (and Canada), a day to take time to be sincerely thankful seems to me one that could not be more sacred. Here's wishing everyone near and far a day to be thankful.

"Live in each season as it passes; breath the air, drink the drink, taste the fruit."
Henry David Thoreau 1817-1862

This red earth just reaches out and grabs me. Hope your day was wonderful!

Is that a field of cotton plants, Debi? It looks so desolate, although the red earth is beautiful. I am trying to imagine having to pick the cotton by hand, it seems like a job for Sisyphus.

I hope you had a good Thanksgiving and that all the pies tasted delicious.
