Winter's shadows

Winter's Shadows
Commemorative Air Force Museum
Midland, Texas

This is one of the last views of this winter. We've had a cold snap here, but it came with moisture for which I am grateful. It might be one of those desert rains that creates a spectacular Spring full of wildflowers. We'll see.

Thank you everyone for your kind words and condolences.

A very nice play of light and shadow, Debi.

Look at the tree reflection in the window - seen from this small version in a fifth of its glory.

Again, my sincere condolences for your loss.

You truly are gifted photographer, mum. I also see you are good with what we used to call "the pen."

Mightier than the s.word.

Fantastic photograph, Debi. Oh, I think I owe you an email. Oops.

Beautiful! It looks like a painting. The many layers of branches give it such depth.

I hope the flowers are still out when we come through. I love the desert in Spring!

Just a quick note to say I hope you're doing okay. In my experience, some days are more difficult than others.

Debi: I love this photo on so many levels. It's amazing. The colors, the composition, the layers, the light... Really wonderful!
