Stop Smoking Day Three

November 21, 2009
West Odessa, Texas

Someone told me that day three and four were the meanest days. I can understand why. At this point quitting smoking is no longer a novelty challenge. It's now just an ordinary, am-I-done-yet challenge.

I did it, you can do it.
Once you have decided, really decided, there is no problem.
Day by day is fine, but take care not to do it in a conscious way - don't 'give up' just don't smoke again...

If you realise you have already stopped smoking instead of thinking you have to stop each day......

Otherwise it becomes like dieting, with the idea that once you hit your target somehow you will be okay and can stop trying.
yay the photos. John, lovely johnmora came by and reminded me of visiting my virtual friends.... Mac fired up, and here I am.

You can do it, Debi. Do it for me, a stodgy smoker.

Keep going. I'm not smoking right along with you. I guess it's a little easier for me though.

Bravo anyway!

Congratulations, Debi. I know you can make it past these mean days.

Tobacco and cigarettes have been shown to be as difficult to quit as heroin, especially with all of the chemicals put into them. Keep on keeping on. You will be happy you did.

I am rooting for you!

Where are you? Did you start smoking again and are afraid we will all be disappointed? Don't worry - I quit 100's of times before I quit!

Really - I am just hoping you are doing well with it and enjoying the holiday!
