Fire and Ice

I'm still plugging away at backing up photos to CDs. It's sort of fun going through old photos, weeding them out ("weeding," get it?), if I didn't it would take three times as many CDs and time. Goodness gracious, I do take a lot of photos of the same exact stuff, over and over. And over. I must enjoy it or something. :P

My photos are all over the place - never can find them! Don't even know how to organize them!

Even if it is the same subject, the light and the state of the thing is always different. Each shot is a treasure to backup, my dear!

Your weed photos are sublime and gorgeous! In fact, because of your eye, I have a whole new attitude about winter and weeds and things I would otherwise fob off as uninteresting or not photoworthy. Are you going to do a coffee table book anytime soon, because I could spend hours looking at these photos, as well as your ones of electrical towers and West Texas buildings and the people and, and, and. You are just one helluva talented photographer!

CDs you burn last six or ten years at most.

Great images. You make weeds sing.

I love these! They are gorgeous. I would like to echo Janet's comment here. You have a gift for spotlighting something most of us don't even notice. Thank you!

Same here, I seem to go to the same places and photograph the same things. How many fennel flower photos do I actually need? lol. I bet you find, like me, that often it's as much about the being and doing as it is about the subject and of getting out there and 'being and doing' means going back to favorite things then so be it!
