Probably some kid that did NOT want to wear those funny looking shoes that his mom bought because they were on sale! I can see why they would be!
There's a pair of sneakers in a similar situation just off of I-65 in north Birmingham and I see them every week. Haven't found a good spot to stop and make the image, though.

I always feel sorry for a pair of shoes hanging up there.
That's funny... go see if that set of Clacker Balls is still hanging from the wires behind the Taco Villa on W.Co.Rd and my mom street. They were there for years. BTW I just gave you an honorable mention on my blog check it out and collect your Kreativ Blogger award.
