Oh my gosh! What more could I possibly say about seeing this vision yesterday? I wish you could have stood there with me and inhaled that sweet scent of a thousand mounds of wild alyssum.
I don't know how the rest of the season will go for wildflowers, but this particular field thinks it's been the perfect conditions this year!

I thought I left a comment earlier - went something like this: You get this amazing scene (beautiful photo) while we get one more snow storm! Can't wait for the bluebonnets - my absolute favourite Texanity.
we got more snow up here in Ny too. =( It's supposed to be ugly all weekend. I can't wait for things to start blooming here again.
I see the strip of color on this photo in IE near the bottom and on Firefox near the top. Strange.
