Wild blooms

I'm not entirely sure — the profusion of blooms is throwing me off — but I think this is an ordinary creosote bush.

04/12/2007 CORRECTION: According to our local flora and fauna guru, Mr. Burr Williams of the Sibley Nature Center, this is a Javelina bush, Condalia ericoides.

Dear Debi,
I wouldn't know myself, because what I can see from MY window is A BLANKET OF SNOW! Sheesh - can you please make them stop?
Can't wait to take my next vacation in Texas' Hill Country!
Love your photographs, but now I really want to see more of your artwork. Have a nice SPRING day!
