Jump!

One of the things I want to do in 2009 is branch out more, stretch my creative wings. For example, I love doing digital collages (as well as traditional paper ones). So, rather than just a photo a day, I'll be striving for a post a day.

Very nicely done, Debi - and even tho I have at least 5 Photoshop books, I haven't a clue as to how make a collage.

(Do you know the artist Joseph Cornell? Your work reminds me of him, very dreamy.)

Hi Debbie,
I'm new to your work and just dropped in on the recommendation of DC Confidential. Wow! Her enthusiasm about your work is highly warranted. In just a few moments cruising through your archives I've started humming the Dylan line "She got everything she needs, she's an artist, she don't look back. . ."
I have tons of questions like where did you study, what camera(s)/lenses are you using, and how long have you been at this. DCC is not the only one who would like to see/shoot like you when she grows up!
Cheers in this new year, and best wishes as you go further down the digital collage path.

Can I come over and hang out and do some of this with you? I love PS and I could sit and do this all day and night. I'm colorblind,so you'll have to tell me when things look just right but I love working in PS and I'm fairly good at it.

Great goal, Debi!

And I love your new banner.

New banner, new year, new goals.

Your digital collages are beautiful. What I like about "Jump" in particular is the shadow that seems cast on the image. "Leaving" and "Remembering" are wonderfully thought provoking and full of mystery.

You've had quite a year in 2008 and despite all of the difficult hurdles you have managed to bring us so many wonderful snippets of life. This is going to be your year.

Oh this is exciting! I am so pleased to see you back. 08 certainly presented its trials and challenges for you. I had no idea, although I do remember some of the moments you mentioned.

I do hope 2009 is much, much better for you. You are warm and kind and multi-talented. May your star shine bright this year! This new road certainly looks hopefull!
