New Mexico #1

U.S. 380 between Plains (TX) and Tatum (NM)
New Mexico

The differences between West Texas and Eastern New Mexico are subtle. Crossing the state border, heading west toward Roswell, I always get a deep sense of home.

New Mexico was my pick when we decided to move West from Memphis.

I always felt like the wind suddenly rushed into my lungs like they were about to explode. It was like the sky suddenly opened up and became the most vibrant blue. I have many great memories of New Mexico.

This is a really wonderful photo. Don't lose it!

I've only spent one week vacationing New Mexico but when they say "Land of Enchantment" they aren't kidding.

I visited New Mexico and fell in love with it. I could live there easily. It's a wide open place with lots of breathing room. I remember nothing but blue skies and the clean air. Beautiful photo!

Gorgeous! I loved our drive through your part of Texas and southeastern NM. I'd do it again in a heartbeat!
