The background, what is it? I love the look, texture, color and well, just everything about it. :)

You have such a fabulous eye for taking photos.

What sort of an other world creation is this? It is too beautiful to be earthly. So delicate and strange! Do exotic things like this just go ahead and grow in Texas?

Beautiful, but what is it. Not a gladiola?, not an orchid? The colors are lucious, like sherbet!

Beautiful -looks like the limb of some creature rather than just from a flower, so strong and almost muscular. Excellent camera work as usual

Yes, I wonder what sort of flower this is. One of the stems is pointing to the sky, and the other bowed, as if in supplication. It does have an alive feel to it.

So pretty and what a clever one to get the angle. good eye and steady hand - I envy you your skills with the camera.
I have the same query? What is it? The form looks like some kind of allium other bulb with multiple flowers, but the texture looks so soft - and your tricksy pic doesn't show what the rest of the plant is like or whether this is the whole flower. Put us out of our misery and tell us the name.

Looks like she is taking a bow after the ballet. Very gracious. And what a great angle for that pic.
